Can Anyone Here Relate?

(I borrowed this from the Holiday Forum.)

A group of 40 year old girlfriends discussed where they should meet for dinner. Finally, it was agreed upon that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because the waiters there had tight pants and nice buns.

Ten years later at 50 years of age, the group once again discussed where they should meet for dinner. Finally, it was agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because the food there was very good and the wine selection was good also.

Ten years later at 60 years of age, the group once again discussed where they should meet for dinner. Finally, it was agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View restaurant because they could eat there in peace and quiet and the restaurant had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Ten years later, at 70 years of age, the group once again discussed where they should meet for dinner. Finally, it was agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because the restaurant was wheelchair accessible and they even had an elevator.

Ten years later, at 80 years of age, the group once again discussed where they should meet for dinner. Finally, it was agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because they had never been there before.

I sure can!! I'm in the group which is glad for the "wheelchair accessibility and elevator"--BUT-- the "never been there before" group isn't too many years down the road! Hope when I'm in that group, I'll still like--and be able-- to go out to eat, especially with old friends.

I'm less than a month from being 40-something... Just the other day my neighbor ladies and I were enjoying libations on my front porch and we all decided to hire the handyman working across the street because he looked nice bending over.

It's been over a year now that Steve's been saying we needed to find someone to paint the front door, touch up the trim by the garage, replace some lost shutter screws, and do some re-caulking near the windows. Can't imagine why I took such a sudden interest in scheduling the work! (For the record, Steve's in on it and laughing at us.)

Nope...can't relate. Just got back from Annapolis and walking behind all those cutie pie midshipmen in their white uniforms...be still my heart!

I love watching foot ball. Especially the huddle and the tight end position.

yeah, you sure don't get that in golf,do you? Are you reading this KJ???

Hey---used to date a guy who was a 'Superman/Christopher Reeves' look-alike who was a great cook AND played Rugby---almost went delirious once watching him in a scrum......

But, GOLF?!!! That game takes guy-watching to a whole new level of sophistication!!!!
Have you ever noticed how a little breeze will ripple over clothing that is not too tight, just giving a suggestion of the beautiful, well-toned,
well-proportioned body underneath----used to salivate when Greg Norman would bend over to pick up a ball from a cup....well, I also enjoyed my aforementioned friend retrieving his golf ball, also. Sigh....
    However, have always appreciated
    walking behind midshipmen
    in whites...
    always.

---Wow----can anyone tell it's Spring around here? GUFFAW!

That's the most difficult part of my job... on a university campus. I bet a couple of you can relate! Nice young good-lookin' thangs! In my case, I mean the guys.

NO--I LIKE GOLF!!! That is tha main reason I watch whenever I can---I love the game!
I will never pass up appreciating a beautiful man---beautiful in his stance, the way he holds his head, ---and watching his eyes size up a putt---incredible...
I will enjoy it all; the day, the game, the guys!!!

That's why I'd like to come back as a golfer---it's all so beautiful---for instance, putting well is like landing a plane well---you gotta factor in winds, speed, distance---get it right and it's pure magic!

YOU can describe the 'tight end and the huddle' for us, west gardener!!!
    Guffaw!!!

Actually my all time favorite football player is Tom Rathman, a fullback with the 9ers. He was built low to the ground and knew how to deliver 2-3 yards when needed for a first down. I like to look at "pretty boys" but I really enjoy watching someone who can deliver the goods.

I always liked Franco Harris,-the way he'd climb right over the top of the opposition---those were great days in football!

    ---'pretty boys'? My goodness....
Oh, well, to each her own, I 'spose!
    Cheers!
