It is Phalaenopsis and it probably can be revived with some TLC.

I've got a couple of things to say or maybe I should say ask. Is there drainage holes in that pot? You must have drainage holes, the more the better. What is that potted in? Orchids don't grow in soil. Phals. are usually grown in a bark mix or possible sphagnum moss. To me it seems as if this orchid is planted way to high in the pot. Usually the leaves are just above the surface of the bark that they are planted in.

It looks like you have regular potting soil in that glass thing. Use a plastic or regular clay pot with good drainage and use a bark-based orchid potting mix. Secure the plant in the pot by tampering down on top, locking in bark chunks around the roots. Water about once a week when the bark appears dry on top. For decorative purposes you can place the utilitarian pot inside a more decorative pot with no drainage.
