Bump.

Hey Nick. Is this a gotta GOTTA have, and you're willing to send some emails & make a few calls? If so, I have a list of potential sources & categories.

If you're kinda waiting to hear about one somewhere, this may be way too detailed for you. I get - um - "thorough" when an orchid's been keeping me up nights for awhile, so to speak.

Knock-out beautiful orchid, by the way.

Please give me the info, I'll do the leg work.. Andy has one as does Ron Parson but neither are willing to part with ant of it.

Nick

This is the pull-out-all-the-stops list. It was a good excuse to get everything on one page and to see some cool orchids on the www.

In Richard's gallery but not in his collection, it seems. His source? http://www.backbulb.com/BPic0217.asp

It's in the J&L photo gallery - maybe they've got a couple?

"The Orchid Finders." Ellen will search for you. They didn't find what I was looking for, & I don't remember if there's a charge if they do. orchids@olympicorchids.com

Troy Meyers. https://lab.troymeyers.com/flasking/home.php. He doesn't have any listed but might know of one coming up.

Orchid Mall http://www.orchidmall.com/plants.htm This reminds me of growers I've forgotten. I shoot them a quick email. White Oak may be one to include. I haven't bought from them but we've exchanged good emails.

Ebay

Various orchid forums. Is it SlipperTalk.com that does a fair amount of selling? You may donate a % or set amount to the cause. http://www.slippertalk.com/forum/index.php

Orchid Societies close to you, or OS members you know well enough to ask to ask around.

A long shot - the Terrestrial Orchids Forum. They've all got non-terrestrials. http://forum.terrorchid.org/

Photographers who shot the plant, although the one time I emailed several, none responded.

B&T World Seeds, France. No Den subuliferum seed currently.

I sure hope you find it.

Thanks for the info. J & L have one, not listed in their inventory but a direct contact worked. A 7 growth mature plant at $75, I'm going for it.

Dog food for the rest of this month, only a few days but it's been a hemorrhage!

Nick

Woo hoo! That's exciting! 7 growths! Please post pix when it arrives.

I'm not intelligent enough for that.

Nick

Of course you are - merely info out there to be acquired, should you choose. :) One of your kids take a shot? I can send you instructions for posting, once it's downloaded to your computer (kids), if they don't have time/inclination.

If you really want to see it, I'll have my kids send me an email of the plant which I will forward to you, you can then post it. It went into the mail yesterday and I'll see my kids this weekend.

Nick

It arrived, looks like a tuft of grass my gardener would pull along with other weeds. A small white flower is opening. I think the plant has to be much larger before the magic starts. I'll have my kids photograph it this weekend.

Nick

That'd be very cool, Nick. Thanks
