Another option is not to re pot it but let it climb out of the pot. The plant then becomes independent of what's in the pot and you'll never have to mess with it again.

I vote to repot. The larger, older plants will have more strength to produce multiple spikes for a great show.

How many leads are there? If there are only one or two I might divide but if the plant is growing in 3 or 4 directions I think having a larger plant is the way to go.

The old growth will never bloom again so the new growth count is important to flowering potential.

Nick, I did not realize that leaving it in the pot was an option. Very interesting. For some reason that idea frightens me. But I may give it a try in the near future. Could I do this with any orchid genus?

Ricardol, there are four new leads emerging. So it looks like I am going to go for the larger specimen when the time comes in a couple of weeks.

Although the current flower spike is reaching the its peak,I will not be repotting for a while. I just found a pretty small flower spike emerging from the newest pbulb. So exciting!
