oncidium twinkle question

I just got 7 Onc. Twinkle orchids from the clearance section at the local garden store since they were cheap as hell, just out of bloom. I don't really have the space to repot them all up in slightly bigger pots but I know (or have heard) that they like to be kind of root-bound. Right now they're all in small pots, 2" I believe.

Would it be wrong or detrimental to pot several together in a larger pot? I could fit three or four into a 6" pot, but I don't want to do this if it'll be bad for them. I figure multiple plants together would eliminate the excess medium problem and keep the roots from sitting and rotting or waiting years to let the plants fill out the pots.

Also, these are the first Oncidiums I've gotten. Should I cut he flower stalks or should I do more of a Phal. treatment on the stalks?
