The roots and the leaves do not look all that bad, maybe change to a slightly more arid mix than spag, so that the roots dry a tiny bit more between waterings.

Hard to say without more information about your growing conditions but spag is very good provided you have optimum growing temperatures.

I agree with Arthur. It looks good, you are getting a new leaf. Pot it up in some spagh mixed with small bark. Just watch your watering and give it a bright spot and warmth. You should list your growing zone and conditions. But it should be fine.

I'm watching this plant like a hawk, so worried I've killed it. Potted it up in some bark and red lava rock, seems to drain well. It sits on my kitchen table, no direct sunlight, but its a well lit room. The new little leaf seems to be red around the tip, is that a bad sign?
