Not unusual. They can be harvested and potted. Wait until at least 3 roots per plant to harvest. I like to add the stem to the pot. It can draw additional moisture and nutrition from the stem. And the stem cut to the right dimension can wedge and anchor the plant to the pot until the roots takeover. Just growing a warm loving plant in Alaska must be tough!
