Yessir. That's true.

I have been doing a lot of Moon appreciation this week. I think this month it's called the buck moon. It came up yellow yesterday. I remember walking a dog at 1:30 this a.m. and thinking to myself how the full moon played into military history.

Meant to include this number, for all our friends who appreciate jazz...

Diana Krall.

I need John Denver,s Amazon to watch the moon by and Rocky Mountain High for meteor shower watching.

The moon was big and orange-red this morning, a lot of haze in the air when it set. The ISS was also moving along briskly. Since it had a 44 degr. elevation I could watch it for about 4 minutes before the trees blocked the view.
Such are life's little pleasures.

Yes, it was a huge yellow full moon last night and there were plenty of moon shadows when I took the dog on his final stroll of the evening around 10:00 PM. The peepers in the creeks were singing a mighty chorus last night & even drowning out the cicadas.

Mmmmm - LOVE Diana Krall. Thanks for the reminder. We just took the dogs for a walk and admired the moon. Nothing like a full moon on a summer night. :)

I thought about this thread last night as I was walking the dog & looking up at the full moon. It looked like a giant peach floating in the sky.

When the moon gets ready to set, it shines right into my bedroom window, always wakes me up and I lie in my bed and am "moon-bathing". It was big and silvery - not red from smoke and fires, that is a excellent sign.

Last night the 21st it was blood red here

ah, minnie -- Dolly must like red. I think that was your precursor to her visit.

No moon visible over here, the nights have been cloudy and full of rumbles. It rained for two minutes yesterday morning, just before dawn.
