I don't have any knowledge of that, and generally don't spray anything on orchids except for water and the alcohol/soap bug spray.

I take aspirin regularly for my heart condition. I shouldn't think, unless your plant has a history of heart disease, it would be worth treating it that way. Stick to conventional fertilizer!

lol. aspirin = same stuff as willow = root encouragement. Not sure what else it might do that would make foliar application a good idea....?

Aspirin contains salictyc acid. This helps plants strenthen their immune systems and fight off viruses, bacterias and funguss, and yes, its the same stuff in wilow bark.

Last year I was prescribed aspirin also known as Ecotrin since I was having very painful menstrual cramps. But my condition became worse when I took this drug; high fever, vomiting, abdominal pain and the doctor told me to immediately stop this medicine as I was having the side effects of the medicine. IÂll advise you all to read the warnings, side effects, overdose reactionsÂetc of Ecotrin and take the necessary action as soon as you find something abnormal while you are taking this drug. Similarly I think that you should be careful when using aspirin for plants
