Here is another picture, where the middle of a new-ish leaf has turned mushy looking. Also the end of the newest leaf is kinda curled up.

Last picture, this shows the inside part of a growing leaf shoot that has now turned brown. Each picture is a separate orchid, all having problems.

It looks like heat stress. Hard to tell from the picture, but it doesn't look like disease. Try moving them to a shady place for a few weeks and see of they improve.

How are the roots?

I have not unpotted the orchids but by looking at the roots and kind of poking around they seem alright, not mushy.

Heat stress makes sense because they were in a car that was towed for 15 hours in the sun. I did not consider how it might be inside the car.
