It looks like a dendrobium to me, but I am far from an expert.

Possibly a Sobralia.

I think it's an Eria. Follow the link above to a plant of mine which looks exactly like yours. My keyboard wasn't working earlier which is why I just posted the link.

I don't think its a sobralia or a eria.

The plant bloomed for me last week and the flower bloomed from top of the cane.

On each flower stem there were 4-5 white flower with yellow lines in the lips. I think its a dendrobium of some sort as the flower resembled other dendrobium orchid flower.

Of someone has a program to run the lineage, the foliage reminds me of Dendrobium Banana Royale

Hello -
To me this looks just like a Thunia (Genus).
I once had a white flowered Thunia, though I cannot remember the species (maybe T. alba). It is deciduous and requires a very dry, cool winter rest, then heavy feeding and watering when in growth. Mine bloomed for me, but I passed it on to another orchid society member in favor of making room for other species. You can find this on orchidspecies.com

Best of luck

On reflection it is unlikely to be a Sobralia, more likely to be an orchid from the part of the world where the O.P lives.
ie a Thunia.

HI Everyone,

I am confident gathrlicgrower is right the orchid is Thunia.

Thank you everyone for your help.

Arthurm,

What does O.P stand for.
