Orchid display design

Hello Orchid Folks:

I know, i don't log in too very often, I just read and run :-)

I've been asked again to design the main orchid display for our society show, which ordinarily happens in February. Evidently, I'm doing a good job...but this time around I'd like to take in some special considerations, such as "accessibility," "visibility" and better traffic flow around the display area.

It's generally a 360 degree display, not against a back wall. It's pretty large nearly 25 feet by 14 feet.

We've had some tall saw horses that provide a nice eye level platform for some of the plants, but if someone is very short, or in a wheelchair, those plants are not visible, and the judges also have a difficult time judging the ones stuck on top. (We try to put large cymbidiums up there - not minis :-) I'm also considering splitting the display in 2 sections...how might that work?

If you are an experienced display designer, and can share ideas to incorporate in show displays to cope with these issues, please speak up - I'd really appreciate the input!

Thanks very much ~ Happy growing
