Mutant phal
Hey everybody! Thought I would share a new and fun little mutant phal I just acquired from my local gc. I think this new little one was under a great deal of stress in a pot without drainage and packed too tightly with moss. There are four basel shoots growing from the crown and a spike! The gc here is usually very good with all their plants but it seems that a few of these ones didn't get any special treatment when they got them in. The other types are in proper clear pots and medium but these few "mini" ones seem to have been over looked because of the fancy pots they were growing in. The crown appears to be in fairly good condition considering, and I don't see any rot from the top. Some roots had to go and a few yellow spots on one leaf from the main crown but other then that it seems very healthy. Here are a few pics, I only know how to upload one at a time. The first one is after I washed the roots off and let it dry for a day. You can see the 3 basel shoots with leaves and a new one growing on the left side that is almost out.
