Here it is after the repot. It is in a pot with large holes and a few glass stones on the bottom that is inside another decorative pot. I didn't have any bark this time but I wanted to try something different this time anyway, just so see what might happen. It might also be a little over potted but this is the smallest pot I have at the time.

Here is the "family". The other ones I got from lowes for less then $3 and set them all up in a south window. This will be there home until I start acquiring more plants that require more light. The ones in the white orchid pots are in clear solo cups I cut up my self and small 1 inch pots for the ones with severe root damage. I filled the orchid pots on the bottom 1/4 with gravel and packed moss around the pots and imho is probably to best way to provide humidity. I water the pot when I water the orchids. I could be totally wrong but it holds more water next to the orchid without touching them. It seems to work anyway, each plant has grown new leaves after losing the old and you can even see a spike on the far left one. So there it is! My new mutant orchid..and family. Thanks!
Ps I didn't have a kabob skewer or anything and I know orchids like to feel stable so, yes, that's a chopstick :)

Doesn't look mutant. Making new growths from the base is normal for some Phals, it depends on the species used to make the hybrids. Spag. is fine provided you have nice warm temps in your growing space in winter and if you do not over water.

I know it's really really not mutant but I have never seen 5 orchids in one. I can't wait to see what it looks like in bloom and depending on how well the leaves grow it could get kinda funny looking. I'll have to wait and see.

All look very good! Please post back when the mutant flowers. I'm curious to see what it is.
