Too many roots

15 years ago

My phals all seem to have too many roots sprouting out of their pots. It makes them look quite untidy. I'm getting reasonable flower spikes, leaves are healthy but too many roots. I have repotted, root pruned but the roots seem to wander. Any suggestions?
