Question for you advanced orchid growers: I'm excited to have my first psychopsis (from Kawamoto Orchids) and have been reading various web pages about the culture. It was shipped in a plastic pot, of course, but all the information I've read recommends clay. Then I've also read that they HATE having their roots disturbed, so therefore I conclude that I should not move it from its plastic pot. Or should I? I'm also leery of putting in out on my screen porch because of humidity levels. (Bound to go down soon though.) Any and all advice about these beautiful and weird orchids will be appreciated.
