Phals growing like crazy!

So this is the first time I've put my Phals outside since I've had them and while I burned them in the beginning with way to much sun, they are growing faster and better then I've ever seen before. I'm going to keep them outside into the fall and hope for some spikes......fingers crossed.

That's great. One word of advice. If the plants are to remain outside where they get rained on, tilt the pots so water doesn't sit in the crowns. This will help prevent any rot setting in as the temps drop in fall. Otherwise, they should do fine and you should get some good flowering.

Thanks Jane. Right now it's not an issue because of the heat and humidity. I'm guessing if I keep them outside it will give them the necessary drop in temp they need to signal flowering....

CJ, they look great! Do they get any direct sun at all there? Or is it full shade all day?

No direct sun whatsoever.
