Bob I have the red wenzelii and I grow it in almost Catt light, temp never below 60 and wet. I use net pots lined with sphag, p'nuts in the bottom of the pot and then seedling bark in the upper portion and sitting in a saucer of water.

Mine are in a fine orchiata mix with some peanuts at the bottom. One is in a 4" clear plastic pot and the other in a 5" decorative clay pot I had around. I'd think more light for mine might be the answer, and I'll make sure they don't 'dry' out.

This is why I asked here, I had read on-line that they liked low light and that didn't seem to make sense to me based on past experience, and the leaves on a wenzellii (somewhat terrete) just look like they would like sun.
