So sorry to hear this. I know your daughter (and I'm sure Tess, as well) knows she made the kind and loving decision.

Your daughter can take some comfort in knowing that she did the right thing...at the right time. Bless her.

Karen

I am so sorry, it's such a hard decission to make, but when the time comes it is the kindest thing you can do.
Hugs for your daughter and you.

(((Hugs))) to all of you.

I have declared bankruptcy and been taken to court in a divorce thing. I have been in jail and have spent many days in hospital. But none of that compared to having Susie leave us.

Cushings Syndrome was did her in; she lost her muscle tone. When she squatted to pee, we had to pick her up. She could not do it herself. The day we took her on her final ride, there were many tears shed before and after. It was a heartbreaking day. And one that I hope to never happen again.

We cruise. The decision is difficult. Cruise or get a new pet. We have decided on cruising. When one of us gets to the point where cruising is not an option, we'll return to the shelter and start again! We have that option!
