My oldest phal. This new growth isn't as stunted as the first, but you can still see the youngest leaf is bigger.

That's good! You want your newest leaf to be bigger than the one before. This means your plant is happy and healthy.

It just looks funny because the older leaves are huge in comparison to the knew growth? I just assumed the new leave would be as big if not bigger then the existing leaves?

Did you repot the Phal when the leaf had already emerged? I've found if I repot when the leaf has already started to grow, it doesn't get bigger than previous leaves and the next leaf will out grow it.

I always repot any new to me Phal regardless of any new leaf growth but if I am repotting because I need new media, I wait until the oldest leaf is mature and before a new leaf has started. If the new leaf is barely visible, it doesn't effect it.

No Brooke, no repot. They hadn't put out new leaves in quite some time. When they did, they put out the small ones first. Being outside really did them well and with the increasingly better conditions then were provided in my dinning room, they started growing.....fast. I was just puzzled when those first leaves stopped and I noticed the second one coming out while the first was barely grown.

Nothing to worry about. Your plant is happier now than it was before!
