Hello, I hang out and post mostly in the Adenium forum but lurk here a lot. I'm not experienced with Orchids at all but have acquired some and am trying to do all the right things. and could use some advice.

I got a Cattleytonia of some sort a year ago in bloom and have been moving it around trying to find the right place for sun. It has now lived all summer in my west facing screened porch where it's shaded until afternoon sun hits it dead on for 2-3 hours a day. This has not burned it, and it must be fairly happy because it has lots of nice roots and has put put 2 new pseudobulbs and a flower spike out of one - exactly a year after I got it.

My question is should I keep it outside in the sun as I have, or is it safe to move it indoors to enjoy the flowers longer? Assuming the blooms will open. The flower spike is about 6 inches tall with a few buds now. I am not sure if it still needs sun or if the sun will deteriorate the blooms faster.
