It's actually not a species but a hybrid... and with a little research we find it's BLC. Orange nugget x Encyclia Cordigera.

Basically you treat it like a catt... (blc orange nugget is a standard mini catt many generation hybrid) and enc. cordigera is a fairly dry growing like many encyclia so it probably could be grown on the let it dry before you water it again schedule... hence the coarse bark and charcoal. Since it's potted, I'd recommend you definitely don't over water. And probably as high light as you can. Probably a spring bloomer, but with the mini catt background may flower more often... you never know with hybrids...
