Oak Hill has wittigiana (rosea) seedlings mounted for $15. I bought one back in April and it has grown very nicely even through the hot summer.

Sophronitis cernua grows like a weed here.

Soph. coccinea likes cooler temperatures and low dissolved salts (RO), its definitely worth it though! The rosea and brevipundunculata might be better to start with. Good luck on your new interest.

Unfortunately I just can't find any other plants from Oak Hill I want. I hate paying shipping charges for singles.

Of the ones he has listed, I'd go with the Sophronitis wittingiana. Mine has been outside all summer....at times near 100 deg! It seems to be doing fine. I'm betting it would love your S. cernua conditions and thrive for you. My S. cernua only blooms once or an infrequent twice a year.

As for the others, I'd love to get my hands on one of his large tetraploid S. coccinea and some of those yellow S. cernua species.
