I don't remember my mornings. Each day I awake a Coelacanth and must pass through each stage of evolution, slowly lumbering up on the lakeshore, my cartilege stiffening into bone, legs and arms forming. I put my new feet on the floor and then, somehow, I gradually stand up straighter and straighter until I find myself WHAM a homo sapiens hanging on to a subway pole rumbling along to work.
