My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
This is a third year pic of my beds, growing between
two conjoined queen palms . there are six speparate hybrids in the group as well as some epi's These were bits and pieces left over from yet another attempt to control them lol gary
I set up a "Vanda pole" but ended up putting more Arachnis on it. Trouble is the low humidity during the dry season with the plants out in full sun. And to top it off my (bore) water has a fine clay in it that coats plants and the Vandas don't particularly like it. Getting rid of the clay would probably be enough, but a new water bore is an expensive undertaking. Of course, if I fertilised occasionally it would also help.
Hi Don't know what happened !! It was vertical whwn I sent it lol It is really too cold hetre to use aVandas as garden plants but I had so many pieces left over thought it a good experiment II built a tempory enclosure out of frost cloth but the last two winter have been very mild.. I'm getting fantastic growth but disappointing flowering though the quality has been excellent, Here is a pic of a hybrid strap grown inn the usual way,not so many flowers but 6 inches accross Should be spectacular someday lol gary
That's a very nice Vanda. I had one a similar colour, but don't know now because it hasn't flowered for a while. They do well if you can get them in very bright light but keep the roots moist.
