Hello,

I have a beautiful orchid with purple flowers and six green leafs (3 on each side). I've purchased this flower from a local shop about 5-6 weeks ago. Just recently, one of the top green leafs started to turn yellow, followed by drying out at the very tip. The rest of the leaf surface is not effected, just the tip of it. The flower is not positioned at the direct sunlight, so it's not a sunburn, and I put 2 ice cubes once a week to water it. I went to the florist that sold it to me, showed the picture, and she couldn't figure out the cause. Maybe someone here is more knowledgeable in orchid care and could shed some light on this problem I am having with my plant, since I don't want it to die.
