SC Crystelle Smith "Aileen" is a mini catt that blooms twice a year for me.
Cattleya forbesii, a compact grower, but not mini also blooms twice a year.

Cattleyas may not do the same thing in different climates, but here is one that grows a pseudobulb and then flowers in my conditions. Registered by SunCoast Orchids which may be somewhere near where you live. Flower changes colour as it ages. Had it for a while so it may not be available.

Suncoast Sunspots Rosemeath is a beauty. I purchased a chartreuse cattleya orchid last weekend from Heavenly Gardens on Krome Ave.I'ts a beautiful orchid with 4 flowers on the spike.The only problem is Heavenly Gardens doesn't have labels on their orchids.I go around to several nurseries so I will keep an eye out for you Shavedmonkey.

I hope i didn't confuse people with my earlier post. Sometimes you get very lucky when you buy unflowered seedlings. In this instance I mean orchids raised from seed rather than baby orchids that are mericlones (copies of the parents). The orchid was registered by Suncoast Orchids from a crossing done by H & R Orchids in Hawaii. My orchid was originated by H & R in Hawaii.

Bless Suncoasts little heart for registering the cross (It costs ten English pounds to do so).
