I'm guessing it is past time to repot. Plastic pots can get over watered and the mix may be decomposing. Maybe taking it out of the pot for starters. But I'm guessing. I'm not there and not much of a picture...

Agree with Shaved. The mix looks bad and wet. Not the best time to repot but in your case, looks like the plant will not make it unless you do something. Maybe increase light.

You didn't provide any growing information. What zone are you? Where has this plant been growing? Please give more information on how you are growing this plant.

thanks shavedmonkey and Jane, I will double check the water and medium. Do you think ground Orchids can handle more moisture than the epiphytes orchids? Wouldnt the growing medium be more broken down and hold more moisture naturally?

Most orchids in nature get wet daily, at least for a season and often more. Most like to get wet but must dry before the next watering. The drying might not happen for several days at a time. If they don't dry they rot.

Once bark etc breaks down it is useless to an orchid.

Do you know how to re-pot?

I believe that would be considered "semi terrestrial" meaning you might find a few growing on the ground but they'd be in something like leaves or something aerated.
