Leggy Seedlings

I posted this earlier but I can't find the post now.

I planted broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts seeds earlier this month using a plastic seed tray and a clear plastic lid. I also used a heat mat. When they germinated, I propped open the lid until all had sprouted and I turned off the heat. They were growing fine with the regular sunlight from the south faving sliding glass door. No artificial light.

Now some of them look very leggy and thin. They are flopped over on each other (only some) but the leaves are growing and getting bigger.

I thought I remembered hearing what causes this but I can't remember. Any ideas? I know it gets enough light b/c I've grown several things in the same spot and they grew just fine.
