You have no email address available. i have plenty of crape myrtle seeds. I have a red flowering type with reddish colered leaves. I can also find you white, lavender and pink. Email me and let me know what you'd like. Also send your address.

Was wondering if you could tell me how fast crape myrtle's grow from seed. I winter sowed some and they are about 1/2" tall now. I've never grown these from seed so not sure how they do. I've done some web searching but couldn't find anywhere how fast they grow or what they need.

Any info would be appreciated.

Pam...
I've had crape myrtle flower from seed in about 12 weeks (Peppermint Lace variety). The crape seedling photo in the yellow pot is below. The large white flower in the background is for a color comparison of a true white. The crape seedling's flower was turning hues and white and pink, very cute.
They grow pretty easily and it depends upon the variety as far as height. I have some dwarf ones, which after 3 years, are only about 2 feet in height, while others the same age are 4+ feet tall and beautiful.

I read seeds from hybrid crepe myrtles do not come true. Are the seeds you are wanting from the hybridizer or from the myrtles?
