If you haven't repotted in all that time, I suspect that your medium needs to be replaced due to the build-up of minerals, etc. I use a peat-based or bark-based mix (Pro-Mix or the equivalent). Keep the medium moist but not soggy. Water when the medium feels light/dry. I grow mine in dappled light or even shadier. Keep it out of the hot sun. Do not get water on the leaves as this will lead to unsightly mineral deposits on the otherwise beautiful leaves.

Right now I have two large pots in bloom. I live in west-central Illinois, so if I can do it, you can too.

Wuness....Ludisia was repotted a few years ago. I can't recall which mix it's in, but I usually add a little potting soil for nutrients. Plus it gets fertilized during growing season.
