Hi guys!

I am still alive, just have been busy with a new job! I did kill my last lotus, although it gave me a lot of chances. I just wasn't patient enough nor was I sure what to look for in regards to new growth. I assumed I had killed it so I kept breaking viable growing tips because I wasn't seeing any root growth.

I ended up driving out of town tuesday and buying a new one and stumbled across a wonderful pond store so maybe it was for the best!

Hope to be around more soon, once I get settled into the new job!

Thanks for asking about me Catherine and thanks Dianne for the email!

Oh good! I was worried, too. Good luck with the new job, John.

Glad you're still among the living John! Sometimes people just disappear, never to be heard from again, so I'm glad you're still here!
Too bad about your lotus, but I think you learned alot, right? We've all been there! I lost my first 2 lotuses, by putting them in plastic bags, and keeping them in the storage room of my chicken coop over winter. Live and learn, as they say.
Good luck with your new job John. Changes like that are always a little unsettling, but I'm sure you'll do fine.
Just don't forget us! We'll be waiting patiently to hear all about your new lotus, and you!
