surrounding air temperature

Hi all,

This is my first year growing from seed. I've set up a light set-up in my basement to help me along. My first tomatoes have started to germinate, but now I'm wary of placing them under the lights.

The average daytime temperature in my basement is 16C-18C. And, at night I'm sure it may be lower. Of course, didn't think about this in advance ;)

So, while the lights may increase the temperature for 12+ hours a day, will the cooler surrounding air temperature at night adversely affect the seedlings? If so, any suggestions on how to fix?

Thanks for your help!
