Hi there, Which specific ideabooks you use reflects your own personal needs or projects. Often people will create ideabooks specific to rooms or to colors or types of furniture they like. I actually have one called "Want. Want. Want." that serves as a kind of product wish list.

I think what you are asking is how to break up your one huge ideabook into separate ones devoted to different rooms and projects, yes?
Try this.
1. Go into your big ideabook and click "Edit"
2. You should see a little white empty box at the top right corner of each picture. Click that box on a picture you want to move elsewhere. A check should appear.
3. Look toward the top menu for a button that says "move photos to" and click it.
4. A box should pop up that asks whether you want to move it to an existing ideabook or create a new one. Choose new ideabook and type in the name of the new ideabook. Click "Done". Your picture should appear in the new ideabook.

You can do this for many pictures at the same time (that you want in the same new ideabook) by checking multiple pictures before clicking the "move photos to" button.

Good luck!

Thanks, Feeny! Great how-to.

Feeny, thank you so much! Your instructions were perfect. I had to go to the Houzz website because I did not find these features on my iPad. Thanks again, jbtom

You are very welcome, jbtom. I think lots of us start out with just one big, unwieldy ideabook and then realize we really need to break it up and organize. I'm now on my 20th ideabook and still growing.
