Throwing Caution To The Wind

I have used all methods of seed-sowing. Winter sowing, starting seeds under lights and most often direct sowing. I have so many left over seeds from last season. I have decided to just go crazy and sow all of them. Have any of you done this? I have so many seeds, I don't mind losing some to Mother Nature. Not the veggies, but some annuals, perennials and herbs. My yard has alot of available space, so I'm just gonna sow until there is nothing left. I have done this in the past and have been surprised at the success. I don't always mark and label, so it REALLY is a surprise! Any ideas on casual marking of seeded areas? I don't want to label each flower/plant, just want to remember where to look for seedlings. I had great luck with columbine, lupine and many others last year. The best, is my pint of morning glory seeds that I have collected. My neighbor has a chain link fence and a yard full of junk. Between my greenhouse shed and a fence-full of morning glories-I can't see the fence or the junk yard! I'm looking forward to a whole day in the yard tomorrow. It's supposed to be 70F!!
