Medium large sized thornless rose

Having disposed of a few roses that were WAY too big for my garden, I need something a little smaller. Something that grows maybe to six feet max.

I have Climbing James Galway and Crepuscule, which are fairly thornless and both are much bigger than what I want. That also eliminates Berrie n Cream and Zeffy, because both of them grow fairly large. Also have the Jefferson Rose which is fairly small but nearly thornless.

Any suggestions for a rose with decent disease resistance and few thorns that is not a climber? I was thinking of Julia Child.
