Thanks, bullthistle. I tried searching "cargo nets" and got much better results. I also checked out your blog and I have to comment on your biographical note where you say you were told "you were not college material" so they directed you to the ag school. I remember sitting in my honors biolgy class in h.s. being much more interested in the racks of plants the "not college material" kids were propagating than in learning about the Krebs cycle. Not only was I not encouraged to take a closer look at New Jersey's ag school (Cook College), I didn't even think seriously about a career in science because "science isn't for girls." So I dutifully majored in business administration (yawn) which wasn't a total waste, but I sure wish someone knowledgeable had talked to me about horticulture, botany, plant pathology or any of those other interesting plant-oriented subjects. It is such a shame that in this country we assume that anyone who takes up a trade must have been an academic reject. Just sounding off. I wish you the best of luck in your chosen profession.

I moved some very large rocks and used a back hoe. I used old carpeting that was scheduled for a trip to the dump to wrap the rocks. It served as a very good protection from marks on the rock. It worked great.

I recently had a couple of large boulers delivered/moved using a Bobcat with forks. You drive the forks under the boulders and lift. No scratches on the top or sides like you can get with a bucket.
