I live in a new home in the Indianapolis area and want to put in a flagstone patio. The problem is the cement stairs from the house to the backyard need to be replaced (they are the wrong shape and size for the backyard) and I want to put in a curved two step to the back door. What can I use as a base/frame to put the stone on and since the shape is going to be curved what is the best way to shape the stone? Any help would be appreciated.
