You might try posting this in the Ferns Forum. Those in the Ferns Forum are very helpful and you'll likely get lots more answers. But just in case you don't find your recipe, I'll tell you what i've learned. Epsom Salts can be used alone or mixed with your usual fertilizer. Either way it is good for making plants green up quickly. I use a little less than package instructions, 3 scoops to a 5 gallon bucket of water and apply about 3 times during the growing season. I've used it on everything from roses to daylilys and iris with great success. Guess you can tell that I Love using it. About the only thing I haven't tried it on is my lawn, but just may have to give it a try. Anyway, good luck on finding your recipe!

I use 1 tablespoon each Epson salts, liquid fish emulsion and Miracle Grow to a gallon of water. It works for me.
