Mow it with lawn mower -- won't get rid of it but smells good. to really get rid of it you need to dig out every little piece of root; or resourt to a herbacide.

Buy bourbon and make mint julips and you will not care where it grows.

Just pull out what you can, leaving as few little underground runner pieces as possible. It will pop up again and again, but always less than before, and eventually you will WIN! It really isn't difficult to pull out, it's just that it keeps coming back.

Persistence will pay off.

No help whatsoever, but this is why I only grow mint in containers! :) (My rabbit loves it.)

Yes, it does smell good when mowed. Smells good after a rainfall too. Unfortunately it is mostly growing up against the garage wall where I cannot mow. I'm going to start pulling and hope for the best. Perhaps the best bet is to tell my son it's his responsibility to pull any he sees and offer him a $$$ incentive if I can't see any. He'll do anything for spending money.
