pruning azaleas

I have two azaleas that have been in the ground for two years now. One has bloomed both years, and the other has not bloomed yet. I have heard that you are to prune right after flowering. Could someone please give explicit instructions on how to cut them? Exactly where do you make the cut? Right under the stalks that had the blooms? And what should I do about pruning the one that hasn't bloomed? Any help would be appreciated as I need to do this soon!
