It seems most feel the Sears black rubber hoses are the best but is there any flat hose that is durable and safe to drink from? Most of the reviews for Magna hose at amazon.com say it was an awful product - burst right away, etc. Is it safe to drink from the Sears hoses? I bought hoses last year from Kmart and then saw that you shouldn't drink from them because they contain cancer causing substances. Well I fill my bird bath from the hose and don't want to make the birds sick so I would like a hose that is ok to drink from.
