Salvaging soaker hoses

We have a bunch of the soaker hoses that seep water slowly but now barely allow any water to pass. Before I toss them, does anyone have any bright ideas on how to restore them to their former porosity? Right now I have them soaking in a container of plain water, hoping it might help to dissolve the minerals I suspect are the culprit. Vinegar? Muriatic acid? We have pretty hard water.

No fair suggesting tossing them as I mentioned it myself. I need ideas to salvage them.

TIA
