Sometimes Amazon and Ebay get you the better prices. Harbor freight has a bunch for cheap also if you can force yourself to buy from them.

Sears has a nice one for around $100.00.It is even one that takes oil.Most of them are oilless(Junk)

Ditto what gorper said that is a nice little compressor.

i bought a cheap UST 4.3 gallon oil compressor from Pep Boys for $89.99 with a $30 rebate. It has enough cfm to run my framing nailer. I bought it keep in the basement as my 30 gallon sears compressor is to heavy to move around. I've used it about 5 or 6 times with no complaints.

I have a crafstman sears that's about 7 yrs old and still operating fine. It is a 2hp with integrated hose and pressure setting switch close to the end of the hose. Its very light. cfm is also pretty high. Don't know the numbers off the top of my head. Of course they probably changed the design by now. But for $100 you should be able to find something pretty good.

I use a $20-25 C-H 7-gallon air tank, which I refill from my big compressor. It's easily transported wherever you need it, and can even run a small brad nailer for 20-30 shots.
