Very sorry for your loss. Is there something we could learn from his freak accident that could keep someone else safe?

Thanks for the replys. His accident was just a one of a kind freak accident, that probably would never happen again in a million years. Yes he will be missed.

Me thinks, maybe mysterious friend Dave, might be making it all up? Seems to me, if a good friend was said to be dead---i'd want to know how and why??? RJ

No I am not making it up. Nobody knows exactly what happened, he was in his garage alone. He somehow got tangled up in a rope that was hanging from the roof of his garage, and by the time his wife found him he was strangled. Since he was in there alone, no one knows excally how it happened. He was just up to his house to check if his car parts came yet, then went back to the garage and his wife found him about 20-30 minutes later.
Why would I join The site to tell you what happened to him, and then make the whole thing up. To even suggest that, I think is very ignorant.

How horrible. I can't even think what his wife deals with. Can't be even close to easy. I'd still like to thank you for sharing. I've got one of those projects going in a messy area that needs to be made safer to work in as we speak. So that is what happens next, make it safe. In some strange way, your friend's last contribution to the forum. The reminder to take the time to create a safe work environment. Take care and visit often.

Yes his wife and children are taking it very hard. His wife won't even stay in the house yet, she is staying with her and John's daughter right now. She says she doesen't even know if she will ever be able to stay there. Yes maybe his death was not for nothing, if it serves to make sure someone else does not suffer the same fate. Thanks for your comments. He used to talk about how much he liked this forum, and that he got help from the members here. He even asked a question about my tractor on here, and made me check the answers he got here. Thank you for your reply.
