Isn't that neat?
I just wish there were sharper Google images for some of the really out-of-the-way old deserted towns and cemeteries.

If you zoom in on the Sacramento City Cemetery image, up in the upper left quadrant, you can see that our "Cemetery Rose" was in the cemetery when this photo was made, for you can see her car!

Thanks Eric------Where is The garden of Legend and Romance roses located.

Cool! I can't get enough of maps. I sort of did it for a living for awhile when I worked for a civil engineering firm. I've mapped all our soils, topography, geology and even added our property lines to those maps. I get that same sort of geeky-nerdy joy when I work with AutoCad. I can spend hours with it. I have the USGS maps from every place I've ever lived.

Yup, I'm a dork.

Jeri, Sacramento had some really detailed pictures. They have the option to tag the image with photos. I thought it would be neat to put pictures of the roses on the map where they live.

Florence, the Garden of Roses of Legend and Romance is located in Wooster, Ohio..roughly between Columbus and Cleveland.

Linrose, I love maps too. I like looking at all the layers that are available.

Thanks Eric---that is such a beautiful name for a garden------

Ohio is our neighbor-- maybe some day I will be lucky and be able to see this garden

Have you ever visited them ??

Florence

Hi Florence, I've never visited there. I almost went last year for a sort of "rose festival" they were having. I think they may be having another one in June, when all the once bloomers will be at their height. Anita (cemetaryrose) was there last year.
