Good afternoon, I have a Mahindra tractor, and we have an auger attachment. THe auger has been sitting for a while, and the sleeve (at the connector) where you atatch it to the PTO has frozen up. IOW, it won't turn so we can slip it onto the PTO shaft. I've tried all kinds of lubes, even let it sit in a bowl of lube for 5-6 days...it will turn a bit, but will not turn enough to get it to go on to the shaft and lock...any suggestions? THe guy at the tractor place said to remove a c clip (easier said than done) and that should fix our problem...I was only able to get it part way off before giving up...any suggestions greatly appreciated!!
