Spring is here

Spring is here. The implement dealers have the lawn and garden tractors out and lined up.

I never thought it was going to get here.

Same here! Got spoiled with the warm temps last week, but yes, mowers are parked outside for the past week. I've been dreaming of the first cut and the smell of fresh cut grass for 2 months now!

Grass is getting green, which is early for NW CT, but it probably will be few weeks still for the first cut.

Enjoy the spring!

Yep, early here. I won't be cutting for a while. A lot of cleanup to do, though.

The grass in Indianapolis is about half a shoe width in my yard, though some small areas it is a shoe width. It will be a couple of weeks before the majority is a shoe width and it is time to cut. I may have to cut some spots when I pull the leaves from the flower beds and cut them up with the mower.
