There's a bar across the handle of my 22" wheeled weed wacker - by grasping it under the handle it engages the cutting head.

The line to this is making a squeak when it's engaged. What do you recommend for ceasing the squeak? Light or heavy machine oil, WD40 or some other lubricant?
