Are the roses budded, or own-root?

If they are own root roses like Gallicas or rugosas, you can pot them up or stick them elsewhgere. I pot mine up and give them away.

If you are getting suckers from the rootstock of grafted roses, toss them.

Sorry--I wasn't very clear--they are own root--Constance Spry and Königin von Dänemark--though the 2nd of these popped up about 5 feet from the parent, the leaves are exactly the same. zone5rose
