Was the lady recently widowed? You know use men do all the yard work and one day were gone and now something the wife never had to do or thought about is now another chore and most don't want to ask other men to help or do it.

I know this cause my aunt couple of years ago lost her husband. I was going over there three to four time a year (lived 500 miles away) making sure everything was working and running smooth (and I mean everything). I done probably the same thing you done to keep the LT runing in tip top shape and course mowed your yard before I left. Her mower was in good working order.

After a couple of weeks (the Grass was ready to mow again) she called me and said the mower didn't go very fast? I questioned her and found out that she never knew to raise the throttle, it was always left up. But, when I got done with the LT I moved the throttle to idle. Yep, see where this is going? I told her the throttle was like the gas pedal in a car, want to go fast raise the throttle instead of pushing on the gas pedal, but on a LT you need the throttle all the way up to keep the engine cool while you mowing. It worked, she got it. Her LT also has an elect. clutch but it still has a lever to raise instead of a buttom to pull or push.
